Interpreting
I provide interpreting services for business meetings, conferences and trade fairs, giving a voice to your words in English.
For meetings I seamlessly switch between English and French to allow for negotiations and dialogue between multiple parties. I work mostly as a consecutive interpreter, though I do offer simultaneous interpreting services depending on the field.
If you are looking to get your thoughts across, to understand and be understood in English and French, I’m here to help.
Translation
I provide general and legal translations from French and Japanese to English. Through my network of sworn translators and interpreters I am able to verify these documents under EU law and make them legally recognised . If you have a certificate, diploma or any other type of document in French or Japanese, send it my way.
Every country has its own rules concerning the certification of translations . Fortunately, though, the situation is straightforward in the European Union. Under Article 6 Paragraph 2 of Regulation (EU) 1191/2016, a certified translation carried out by a person qualified to do so under the law of a Member State must be accepted in all Member States.
Quality Assessment
All translations are proofread and quality assessed by me and colleagues, upholding a gold standard whether for general or legal documents.
Proofreading is a large part of the job, we bear the responsibility of making sure each and every document is accurate and representative of the source text.
In the rare case that a finished translation needs clarification, editing or stylistic feedback, I work closely with my clients to make any changes needed.
